My sister prepared the first meal of the new year for me:

Chocolate Chip Pancakes

For lunch I had sushi with my sister and nephew at Yotsuba in Ann Arbor. I love sushi but I've read that much of the sushi one gets from restaurants has been incorrectly labeled at the wholesale level. I'll research and report more in weeks to come, but now you can find a lot of information at the Seafood Watch website.

Our family Christmas celebration was held on New Year's Day at my sister's house, and much grazing occurred. Here's one snap of the buffet, but there was more food on the table before and after this shot.
