Day 33

I had an early doctor's appointment to get lab work done (cholesterol check, etc.) and I wasn't allowed to eat before (and didn't make a lunch) so it was meatless cafeteria omelette for breakfast and Mongolian Grille with the team for lunch. I opted to stick with tofu at the restaurant as opposed to eating the mystery meat.


For dinner I made one of my favorite recipes but didn't like how it turned out. I think the problem was the whole wheat linguini, frankly. I'm usually fine with whole wheat pasta (in this case Ronzoni Healthy Harvest) but for this recipe (which consists of garlic and mushrooms sauteed in butter and olive oil and tossed with dried basil) it just didn't taste right.

The roomie made pumpkin bread out of a box and it was delicious. One piece shown, my second was bigger. I know this picture makes it look kind of burnt but it really wasn't; it was perfect.
